New look for TVNZ’s Breakfast in 2018

Breakfast returns to TVNZ 1 on Monday January 22 with a whole new look.
Well-known presenter and athlete Hayley Holt will join Jack Tame from next week.

Hilary Barry will move to Seven Sharp when the primetime show resumes in February. An announcement regarding the Seven Sharp presenting line-up will be made before the programme’s first 2018 broadcast.

Hayley Holt says “I’m so excited to be joining the Breakfast team. I’ve watched the programme for years and it feels slightly surreal to know I’ll be hosting the show alongside Jack in a week’s time. I hope he knows what he’s in for!”

Jack Tame says “Working with Hilary on Breakfast has made my 3am wakeup calls a breeze. While I’ll miss having her by my side in the mornings, I can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to Seven Sharp this year. I’m looking forward to Hayley joining the team. She’s funny, smart and I’m sure she’ll crush it.”

News anchor Daniel Faitaua and weather man Matt McLean round out the Breakfast team.

Breakfast is New Zealand’s most watched morning news programme with an average audience of 121,000 watching every day (AP5+).
